Argh!

Do you shop online? See that little blue box in the upper right hand corner? GoodSearch? Click on it! Click on the little button that says Amount Raised. That is what just my house has raised for the MD PGR HOTH program. We were only buying things on the internet that we would have bought anyway. But by adding the GoodSearch/GoodShop toolbar to our browsers, we get a percentage donated to MD with every purchase.

It is automatic that anytime you hit a website that participates, you will see a little blurb that says "x% of your purchase will be donated". This is free money for our HOTH program. Last year we raised around $100. Considering how many Riders are registered in Maryland that is awful!

What kind of internet sites are doing this? The list is huge.

1800FLowers, Amazon, Apple Store, AT&T, Best Buy, Dell, eBay, JCPenney, Expedia, iTunes, LLBean, Lands End, Lowes, Macy's, Overstock, PetSmart, Office Depot, Sears, Target... The list goes on and on... There are just too many to list them all... J&P Cycles, Motorcycle Superstore, Bike Bandit, Autozone...

Even this website as I have set it up all through GoDaddy, so they kick in a percentage of what I pay for the site!

If you use Goodsearch to search the internet, we also get a penny for each search... As you can see it doesn't get used that much because it is the yahoo search engine behind it... But if you normally use Yahoo, with the toolbar you can use goodsearch and get the same results....

C'mon folks help us out here... You are going to buy those products anyway... If you do it through goodshop or install the GoodSearch toolbar, it will automatically put donations into the MD PGR accounts!
