The final ride:
This is the final itinerary for the Patriot Guard Mission to honor Robert "Slider Bob" Bell, USN, Veteran, Past Maryland State Captain for the Patriot Guard Riders. We have already stood the flag line for Bob’s services and now we will ride with Bob one more time as we take him to Arlington National Cemetery (ANC).
Interment at Arlington National Cemetery will take place on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at approximately 1400 hrs.

Hand-held 3x5 flags will not be required for this mission. There will be a procession from the funeral home to ANC. Travel distance to ANC from the funeral home is 50 miles (approx), make sure you arrive at the staging area with a full tank of gas. Fueling services are available. If your motorcycle is equipped, bring 3x5 mounted flags. Be sure your rig is safe and secure as we will be driving at highway speeds.

If the forecast changes and there is any indication of ice on the roads or snow-slick conditions, we will cage instead of ride. Bob would never forgive us if someone was hurt on his mission.
